Chapter 6


Magnus was almost entering in to the age of 4.Were one goes to school it was Autumn and leaves where shading down wind where the starting to blow strongly very few birds seen in the countryside of California the wind bulls where grassing in the filed the greenish of the countryside was getting dull so was ting in Tiller peak the harvest had failed and other thing turned to be .


Agness and Norman were at home. Normas was promoted to Colorado were he was given family status. Norman had actually come to Tiller Peak to take his family to Colorado Suaven had not idea of this idea Till one day Norman come face to face with his father

Norman said father Madness had grown to a fine girl to a age where a step has to be taken Sullivan agreed and said yes indeed that precious one has definitely grown to a big girl and said yes indeed that precious one has definitely grown to a big girl Well it is almost time for her to got school I had no idea that years had passed were do you think she should join whey not in the St Peter’s it is near from home and Mr Skinner you know the now who plays the piano in the church

He is the principal. I think I will have a word with him, yes; today itself. Norman was surprised, than expected, to see the anxiousness on his fathers words of her daughter. This made it more difficult for Norman to tell his plan to his father. He stood still and cold.


Sulaven in his anger said Whey don’t you say something what is wrong Norman stood could as he gathered his strength to speak to his father of his plan

Norman started to say of his plan, but what he was not aware was that Mangess was standing behind the door and listening as he spoke


Tears ran down her face as she understood that she was about part form her friend, her Garden angel


After saying of his pan Norman left the room as he was able to detect the news was not something his father wanted to listen

As mangess saw her father leaving the room she ran into the room trashing in to her grandfather arms crying Magnes said  granddad Whey is this happening, let them leave me here I want to stay. tell them grand papa tell them please!


Sulaven surprisingly ok, Magness  I will tell your father if that is what you want I would want the same thing too.


Sulaven then dried the tears from Magness eyes took her into her arms and walked out of the room as they were about to do so Martha happen to pass by, Martha enquired what are you both up to now Sulaven said noting just a walk in the garden are you coming too



Martha oh me! may be later not now I have thing to do

Sulaven said all right then

As Sulaven walked out of the door way Martha noticed that Magnss cheeks were wet and she went about her work.


Agness had just finished her work in Magness room arranging. Martha came over to the room and asked


Oh Dear whey was Magness crying has she been with her tricks again

Agness replied no, not that I know of she was rooming around with her doll when  I was on my way upstairs


Martha asked again well has Norman told her anything

Agness replied Norman well he was quit silent today most of the time he said wanted to talk to Dad. It sounded something important

Martha then replied in that case it must be something very important do you have idea what it might be

Agness then said that she had no idea yet he said that he will tell about it over

Dinner


Martha then too over the room and Agnes went out of the room and went down the stairs as she was making her way down the stairs her mind went passed her as she wondered of Norman had to say to the family at dinner she said to her self with fear at heart what could it be what possibly could it be


As she gassed through window on the stairway she happen to see Magness and Sulaven waking at once her wondering stood still as she noticed the long sad helpless faced of Sulaven and Mgnes she then reminded herself of Martha telling her of Agness crying she then came down the stairs and then out into to the open .


Ha! Yes it was the breeze of Tillers peak as it made its way through the trees green fields animals and too through Sulaven Agness and Magness


Agness approached the sad looking witness as they were standing around the swing

Oh alright Exclaimed Aagness and said what is wrong with you two


Magnes not knowing of her mother presence, turned towards on her hearing her voice

Agness asked in shock my dear child what is the matter whey are you crying she then looked towards Sullivan as he turned away her face tell me someone of what is wrong she asked


Magness said to her mother with tears whey mother do we have to leave Grad Papa and home

Agness in her shock said leave! were who said that to you that we are leaving we are not leaving any where as she comforted her daughter

Magness taking in very haply said we are not that is very good news

Sullivan said to Mgness dear whey don’t you play on the swing while I and you mother have a walks


Ok said Mgness and began to swing


Sullivan and Agnes started to walk they walked and walked they passed the files white fences quit carriages field with gains from the field passing by but Sullivan looked quit sad Sullivan paused for a moment and asked well when will you be leaving


Agnes in her surprise answered first Magness and now you what is going on hwo said about going, going where ?


He has not told you?


Told me what Said Agnes

He told me that he had been promoted to Colorado where he is been given a home and were he intends to take you and Mangess soon you will leave Tillers Peak said Sullivan

How dare he take such a dissection with out conceiting with me said Agness in rage Well I think you all have to go one day or the other from home but what about my precious angle Magness she has been so attached t home she does not want to leave said Sulaven

Oh dear Magness does she know what did she say how told her asked Agness she overheard Norman telling me of this by the door of the study said Sulaven

who is going to make her understand aksed Agness I do not know  said Sulaven


Walking back to peak edge they put their minds to action thinking of what to do what to say their mind was disturbed and preoccupied but they constantly felt the refreshing by the companion of Tillers peak wind


The sun had set. The moon light was bright for the owls to come out from their yearning next everything was quit even the home except Martha and the house maidens  laid everything  and penitently awaiting Martha called out the table quietly Sulaven as always took the head of the table

Norman had come in the sit next to his father facing his wife everyone began to serve and feed themselves quietly with the food on their plate

Agness Sulaven and mgness constantly looked at Norman with anxiousness and anger Martha suddenly said ah Agness told me that you Norman ----


Sulaven said Norman not now you may say your peace in the study after dinner now have your meal

Dinner was over every one got up form their seats except for Martha who was not aware by the voice of her husband and the look of Agness that

Something was wrong in the family Martha paused for a moment on the chair wondering what it could it be

Sulaven said Agness to take Magness to her bed for it was passed her bead time

As every one sat at the study Magness kissed everyone good night and went out of the study with her mother who took her buy her hand to her room and laid her on bead Mangess soon felt asleep


After aganess to joined the in the study

Where Norman had jest finished telling his mother of his plan

Agess said in her sorrow and anger well should I be the last person to know from you

Norman said no dear I was going to tell you

Well do you know Norman said Agness Magnes know this before I did

Well Magness but who ? Asked Norma with guilt she over herd you telling to me said Sulaven

This is what I went to talk about manges does not want to leave she want to stay  she can stay with me and martha her in Tillers Peak she has stayed her till now

 I don’t mind raising her said Sulaven


But dad Magness is only a small child what does she know she will be jest fine in Colorado with some real friends replied Normans


What about me Asked Agness my work


It is taken care off I found job for you too you can join as soon as we settle down replied Norman proudly

Settle down How long will you be away from us asked Martha with curiosity  well mother I might never come back I am not sure about it answered Norman Sulaven sat down at his chair taking all this with silence ad the strength of mind Asked after al had said their half

Ah when do you pan to leave with you family

Next month dad it will be almost time for Mangess to go to school answered Norman O h then it is settled that ok goodnight  said Sulaven and went to sleep .

Chapter 5


              Winter had ended and spring then summer and came autumn weeks and months passed, the wells of days were rolling so fast at Tiller peak work was delayed there was no life except for Sullivan and Mgness . Mgness had already captured every corner f the Tiller peak as she ran across rooms after rooms

Fields after fields learning everything observing everything with anxiousness as far as Sullivan was concerned he was always behind her throughout Sullivan was what Martha defined seeing the two together as Guardian angle Martha on the other hand was the woman of the house giving orders to the house keeper seeking to it that every thing was spike and span and when she was free she did noting ells but knit

Agnes was working in the town next buy as an officer in a bank meanwhile Norman on the other hand as he was given a fine salary was working in the city as an executive with his own personal office So it came to this that the residence of tiller Peak were Sullivan Agness Martha and Magness

Sullivan who was the man of the house and now Magness garden angle who was the closest thing to Mgness he thought Magnss may things he welcomed Mgness to the world of animals birds farmyards and country side as a hole horses were the pretty sight for Mgness she grow in love of her grand father who was a friend to her and too tillers peak which she grow in affection and wante4d to stay in Tillers peak for Ever


Magness enjoyed the out doors were she was watched with question Sullivan used to play all sought of games with her even games with Mgness often told her grandfather that she would not leave Tillers Peak for the world


Sullivan would reply well there comes a time that you will change you mind

Agness was a busy mother she had a tight schedule which she hated very much because she could not be with her family as much she wanted. Parting with her mother was not so heard for Magness she was jest a child Norman was the one who really lost touch of home as he came  home twice a month Sullivan heated this and feared about this time turned its well  years passed by them as they Sullivan and mgness enjoyed every movement of it .
