Chapter 1


The sun had risen in the east. The flowers has just blossomed from their buds. The bird's arose and cried out their morning call and had just flown from their nest in to the open horizon calling out to the prairie of California; that spring had returned. Yes Spring was, the beginning of new thing new things, new freshness and new expectation. So was for The Tillers at tiller peak as they were expecting a new member into their family any time now.


Impatiently they stood at the door of the OR. The eldest Sullivan walked to and fro his wife Martha took her seat and waited. Norman the new father too stood by the OR. Norman looking at his watch and then asked his father how long will it take, it has been over an hour since they have taken Agnes to the to the Or Sullivan replied patience my son I am sure it will not take too long now Martha gazing at both the men then to the door of the or and the red glow on the to which soon stopped glowing a nurse came out caring a beautiful girl the Tillers moved forward towards the nurse caring the baby. The nurse then congratulated the family and said that they now have a beautiful baby girl the family was very happy and excited.


Norman asked the nurse is my wife ok unconscious but fine but Replied the nurse but what Norman remarked as the family stood alarmed and stiff to take the suspense chill the nurse replied well the child is premature and must remain in the hospital for the next 2 months Sullivan ok I see but she is ok right yes she is Replied the nurse


                                    Agnes remained in the hospital for the next one week She often saw the baby in her room when ever the nurse brought her Norman Sullivan and Martha came to the hospital ever day from Tiller peak to see the mother and the child The was watched with Quotation by the nurse and the family as  it lay in the incubator its home for the next 60 day Agnes soon cam home to the tiller peak still exacted and week MARTHA was busy Taking care of  Agnes, the man acted as messengers reporting the events of the child its movements to the mother and Martha


When Agnes was well enough she went to the hospital in the morning and it the evening to see her child in the afternoon Agnes was planning and decorated a nursery to her baby in the to floor she was soon excited that she hardly took a week to arrange it but for real the family was finding it so heard to go pass the 60 day as they were all anxious to bring the child home.

Spring had ended its stay in California it hardly was given any attention soon their was the blooming of sunflower speed around the country side.
