The sun had
risen in the east. The flowers has just blossomed from their buds. The bird's
arose and cried out their morning call and had just flown from their nest in to
the open horizon calling out to the prairie of California ; that spring had returned. Yes
Spring was, the beginning of new thing new things, new freshness and new expectation.
So was for The Tillers at tiller peak as they were expecting a new member into
their family any time now.
Impatiently
they stood at the door of the OR. The eldest Sullivan walked to and fro his wife
Martha took her seat and waited. Norman the new father too stood by the OR.
Norman looking at his watch and then asked his father how long will it take, it
has been over an hour since they have taken Agnes to the to the Or Sullivan
replied patience my son I am sure it will not take too long now Martha gazing
at both the men then to the door of the or and the red glow on the to which
soon stopped glowing a nurse came out caring a beautiful girl the Tillers moved
forward towards the nurse caring the baby. The nurse then congratulated the
family and said that they now have a beautiful baby girl the family was very
happy and excited.
Norman asked the
nurse is my wife ok unconscious but fine but Replied the nurse but what Norman
remarked as the family stood alarmed and stiff to take the suspense chill the
nurse replied well the child is premature and must remain in the hospital for
the next 2 months Sullivan ok I see but she is ok right yes she is Replied the
nurse
Agnes remained in the hospital for the next one week She often saw
the baby in her room when ever the nurse brought her Norman Sullivan and Martha
came to the hospital ever day from Tiller peak to see the mother and the child
The was watched with Quotation by the nurse and the family as it lay in the incubator its home for the next
60 day Agnes soon cam home to the tiller peak still exacted and week MARTHA was busy Taking care of Agnes, the man acted as messengers reporting the events of
the child its movements to the mother and Martha
When Agnes was
well enough she went to the hospital in the morning and it the evening to see
her child in the afternoon Agnes was planning and decorated a nursery to her
baby in the to floor she was soon excited that she hardly took a week to
arrange it but for real the family was finding it so heard to go pass the 60
